Every sealed pack holds six new copies for your Collection. Cut through the wrapper, throw the cards to reveal them, and discover which Entities, Incantations, and Relics answered the call.
In Specter, a card records more than its rules. Every copy opened from a pack has an identity tied to the edition and pack where it was found.
Reveal six cards
When a pack is opened, the first five positions can reveal Common, Distinct, Rare, or Epic cards. The sixth guarantees at least a Distinct card, with a chance to reveal a Rare or Epic.
Cards are presented one at a time. Drag and release slowly to reset the stack, or make a fast throw to launch the next card until the full contents are revealed.
At the end, all six copies are arranged together and added to the Collection.
Edition and language travel with the pack
Packs record their edition and language when acquired. Changing the interface language later does not alter the history held inside them.
When boxes, bundles, or starter products are opened, their contained packs inherit the language recorded by the original product. This preserves the context in which each item entered the Collection.
A card's artwork comes from its print in that edition. Displayed text normally follows the player's current language, but the copy continues to preserve its original language.
Every copy receives a serial
The six opened cards become separate collectible copies, each with its own serial. Two cards with the same name and artwork remain distinct copies inside the Collection.
That identity follows the copy when it enters a deck, appears in Auction, or changes owners. Variants also belong to the individual copy, not the card in general.
Inspect the Archive
Open the details of a copy obtained from a pack to access its Archive. This area gathers the preserved information for that copy:
- Individual serial
- Acquisition date
- Player who opened the pack
- Current owner
- Original edition and language
- Card variant
- Verification Data Matrix
Select another copy of the same card and the Archive updates with its corresponding history. If no copy is owned, the area remains empty instead of displaying simulated information.
The visual card face can also display its title and description in the pack's original language while the side panel remains in the current interface language.
See every finish
Special variants receive reactive finishes in Card Details. Foil, holo, and metallic effects respond to movement, shifting light and color across the art without replacing the identity of its print.
Open your packs, find the next piece of your deck, and inspect the path traveled by every card in your Collection.
