Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026
These terms govern the Specter website, client and online services, a multiplayer trading card game. Please also read the Privacy Policy to understand how your personal data is processed.
Privacy Policy1. Service and operator
Specter is administered by Leandro Lucas Miranda, professionally known as Leo Gersen. “Specter” and “we” refer to the service administration. Questions, account requests and complaints can be submitted through the website Support form without signing in.
These terms cover registration, matches, collections, decks, the store, packs, items, friendships, trades and auctions as available in your version and region. Specific offers and rules disclosed before a purchase or event form part of the conditions of that transaction.
2. Accounts, access and minors
Provide accurate information, keep access to your email and protect your password and sessions. Do not sell, lend or transfer your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact Support; responsibility for an incident will be assessed according to its circumstances and applicable law.
You must have legal capacity to enter into an agreement. If you are a minor, registration, use and purchases require a legal guardian’s authorization and supervision where required in your country. Guardians may contact Support about account data and use. Local legal restrictions may also affect access.
Alpha access is by invitation or key. Applying does not guarantee approval or an access date. A key grants the access associated with it, without ownership in the project or a promise of future benefits.
3. License and intellectual property
We grant a personal, limited, nonexclusive license to use the client and services under these terms. Cards, artwork, characters, text, audio, trademarks and software remain protected by their respective owners’ rights. Acquiring a digital card or item does not transfer copyright in its content.
Do not distribute modified clients, commercially exploit our content or remove protection mechanisms without authorization or a legal basis. These terms do not restrict uses expressly permitted by law, including statutory copyright exceptions.
4. Cards, collections and digital items
Cards, packs, avatars, sleeves and Deck Boxes are digital content associated with the service. A copy recorded in your collection grants the use provided within the game; it is not a financial instrument, guaranteed resale value or a promise that the service will last indefinitely.
The system applies deck construction, rarity, Epic and Spawn card rules, bound items and starter card restrictions. Some copies cannot be traded. Items associated with a deck may require confirmation to detach them before trading or auctioning.
We may adjust rules, attributes, effects, availability and behavior to fix issues or balance the game. Material changes will be communicated through service channels. Changes do not override rights arising from an offer or purchase.
5. Gold, store and payments
Gold is the virtual currency used by Specter features that accept it. It may be earned through available activities or offers and purchased in the store when enabled. Gold is not legal tender, a bank deposit or an investment. The service does not offer withdrawals or conversion of Gold or items into money.
Check the product, quantity, currency, total price and conditions at checkout. Options depend on country and availability; payments may be processed by Stripe or Xsolla. The processor’s own payment terms also apply, without replacing our service obligations.
Purchases and credits require payment confirmation. Declined, cancelled, duplicated, fraudulent or reversed transactions may require adjustments to related credits or items, which you may discuss with Support. Never send Support passwords, full card numbers or security codes.
6. Packs and randomized content
Packs may contain randomly obtained cards and artwork. Check the offer description for any guaranteed content. No specific card, artwork, variant or rarity is guaranteed beyond what the offer expressly states.
Earlier results do not guarantee future results. Duplicates may occur. Quantities, editions, pools and distribution conditions may differ between products; one pack’s rules should not be assumed to apply to all packs. Received content is associated with your collection under the game rules.
7. Trades and auctions
Use official mechanisms to exchange items permitted by the system. Check the offer and selected copies before confirming. Auction bids may reserve Gold until the outcome; deadlines, buyouts, fees and cancellation conditions are those shown for the transaction.
Completed transactions change collections and balances. Regretting an in-game choice does not guarantee reversal, but errors, fraud and statutory rights may justify review and correction. Contact Support with the transaction details.
Do not use coordinated accounts, artificial bids or simulated transactions to manipulate prices, move improperly obtained resources or defraud the service. We do not recognize account sales, external cash trades or guarantees made by third parties.
8. Conduct and fair play
Treat other players respectfully. Harassment, threats, discrimination, disclosure of personal data, scams, impersonation and illegal content are prohibited in names, messages and other service spaces.
Do not use cheats, unauthorized automation, tampered clients, deliberate bug exploitation, match manipulation or unauthorized access. Do not attack infrastructure or attempt to obtain other players’ private information. Playing against Specter’s official bot is a permitted feature.
Report issues through Support. Where there are indications of a violation, we may investigate relevant records, restrict transactions and apply proportionate measures, including warnings, suspension or closure. Urgent measures may protect accounts and the service; you may request explanations and review through Support.
9. Availability and Alpha
Specter relies on connectivity, servers and third-party services. Maintenance, failures or updates may interrupt matches and access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every Alpha feature will reach the final release.
Content and progress may change during Alpha. If an update requires a data reset or retirement of a feature, we will communicate its scope and the treatment of affected purchases. Alpha status does not remove statutory rights or authorize disregard of paid offers.
10. Cancellation, refunds and account closure
Contact Support for billing issues, cancellation, refund or account closure requests. Provide only the information needed to locate your account and transaction. We may request identity confirmation proportionate to the request.
Mandatory consumer rights prevail over these terms. In Brazil, the statutory right to withdraw from distance contracts may be exercised within seven days under the Consumer Protection Code. Delivery or use of digital content does not by itself waive statutory rights.
Account closure prevents access to associated content. Balances, purchases and pending transactions will be assessed according to the reason for closure and applicable rights. Some records may remain after closure for the reasons described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Responsibility and disputes
Each party is responsible for its obligations under applicable law. We do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived or exclude statutory responsibility for service defects or failure to honor an offer.
Contact Support so we can try to resolve a problem. This does not prevent complaints to data protection authorities, consumer protection bodies or courts. Applicable mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights remain available to you.
12. Changes to these terms
The current version displays its update date on this page. Material changes will be communicated on the website or another appropriate channel before taking effect where required by law. Fresh acceptance will be requested if a change requires it.
Changes do not retroactively remove acquired rights. If you disagree with a change, you may stop using the service and request account closure, preserving rights relating to purchases and personal data.
